Because of all the rain this week the soccer games scheduled for Saturday have been moved to May 11th.  Weather permitting soccer games will resume on their regular schedule next Saturday, April 27th, at the Carrollton High School football field.

The Carroll County Area YMCA will be offering a youth track and field program in June and July.  Children ages 7 – 16 can sign up.  Practices will be held Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  Jacobi says the program will help prepare those who are interested in taking part in the Show Me State Games in Columbia July 26th and 27th.

A job opening still exists for the temporary position of Summer Camp Director.  The job will start soon for training and preparation, with the summer camp running 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. starting June 3rd.  Anyone interested is encouraged to apply at the Y office.

The new website for the Y will be up and running soon at www.carrollcountyareaymca.org or you can reach them by phone at 660-542-0011.  The public is also welcome to drop by their office across from Sonic in Carrollton.
