The Carroll County Area YMCA continues to take early bird registration for their upcoming Summer Camp program.  The early bird deadline is May 3rd, and the program starts June 3rd.  Summer Camp is open to all children from around the area regardless of whether or not they are attending summer school.  Sign ups also continue for the summer basketball program for students in 7th – 12th grade.

The Y has started a brand new series of fitness and aerobics classes at Shapes in Carrollton.  They have a wide variety of classes available morning, noon and night with babysitting available for some of the evening sessions.  The class is beginner level to allow people of all fitness levels to enjoy the fun.  You can sign up at any point in the session and any unused classes will carry over to the next group of classes.

Adult co-ed softball signups are also underway.  Those games will be played at Walnut Hills in Carrollton.  Typically they are looking for teams of 10 – 12 people with at least three women per team.

The Carroll County Area YMCA office is across from Sonic in Carrollton.  Their phone number is 660-542-0011 and the website is www.carrollcountyareaymca.org
