Soccer practice has started and their first game will be April 13th at the football practice field near the track in Carrollton.  Games will be played from 9 a.m. through about 1 p.m.  The Y also has about 15 pairs of shin guards remaining at just $5 a pair.

Signup is underway now for YMCA Summer Camp.  It will be held June 3rd – 28th from 1 – 5 p.m. weekdays.  Early bird registration is available now, which means the price is $55 per week.  That discount will be available until May 3rd.  Then the price will be $60 per week if you have a pool pass and $65 weekly if you don’t.

The YMCA is also taking submissions for Y related art to use in their facility, and possibly on t-shirts or other materials.  The contest is open to kids in kindergarten through high school from all around the area.  Art contest entries are due by the end of the day on Monday April 1st.

The Carroll County YMCA office is across from Sonic in Carrollton.  Their phone number is 542-0011 and the website is www.carrollcountyareaymca.org
