The Carrollton Area Economic Alliance will present their proposal for a farmers market at tonight’s (Mon) Carrollton City Council meeting.  The plan calls for a market every Saturday morning on the Carrollton square.  Metz says if Council gives their approval they will start advertising for vendors, with a goal of having their first market later this month.

In other big news Custom Solutions has moved into a 53,000 square foot facility in the Industrial Park.  That move means the facility is full.  Custom Solutions plans to expand in the new larger facility, and that could mean new jobs for the Carrollton area.
