Planning is underway following the Carrollton City Council approval last week for a farmer’s market on the square.  Metz says they hope to have their first market Saturday June 29th.  There will be a planning meeting Tuesday June 18th on the lower level of the library at 6 p.m.  Anyone who is interested in becoming a vendor or volunteering to help with the farmer’s market is encouraged to attend.

Metz will be out of town Friday June 14th through Monday June 17th on a trip to Denver.  She will be a jury foreman in deciding the next group of All-American cities, an honor that Carrollton accomplished in 2005.
