CARROLLTON, MO – An extremely light agenda for the Carrollton City Council Monday still managed to elicit some official actions by council members. Routine bills were paid, and during reports by council members, some city board appointments were approved. Appointments filled end-of term vacancies and resignations on both the Park Board and Library Board. Councilwoman, Susie Bliss, who is the council liaison to the Fire Department Board, had concerns about low frequency of meetings.  She told fellow council members that the board had not met since July this year, according to her recollection.

Other council members echoed her concern, saying that the board is important to the city. The council may be looking into possible oversight lapses and current appointments and terms of board members in order to enable the fire department board to meet more often.
