Carrollton Council Moves Forward on Several Items

From retirement plans to solid waste removal, the Carrollton City Council covered a variety of topics in a reasonably short amount of time.  Administrative Assistant Terry Bell says an update on city employee benefits kicked off the night followed by the approval of a liqour license request..

Rapid Removal, based out of Trenton, plans to submit a bid when the current plan is up for consideration.  In other business council members heard an update regarding the possibility of hiring an administrator for the city of Carrollton..

On an amended agenda item, a liqour license request for the Benton street BP was approved.  The facility already is already licensed under the S & K Group but is in the process of getting reauthorized under the Bassi Group LLC.
