Carrollton Council to meet Monday

CARROLLTON, Mo. — The Town of Carrollton Council will gather in their chambers Monday evening for a regular meeting.

According to a tentative agenda, Carrollton Area Economic Alliance Director Sharon Metz will give an overview of economic activity within the town. Planning and zoning requests will be considered, including for a Carrollton High School renovation variance.

Propane bids for the Carrollton Police department will be discussed and an ordinance authorizing the city to execute a contract for the purchase of propane will be brought forward.

Reports form the street and wastewater supervisors will be heard before Mayor Brian Mathis gives his report, which will include discussion of a sidewalk grant.

Council members will give reports as well before assent is given to any necessary bills.

The council will then move to a closed session.

The Town of Carrollton Council is slated to meet at Carrollton City Hall at 6:00 p.m. Monday.
