The investigation into Thursday’s Carrollton house fire continues. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Fire Chief Curtis Shields:
Fire crews responded Thursday morning to reports of a fire in the 1000 block of Ruby Street in Carrollton. “When we arrived we found that we had quite a bit of fire in the attic,” said Shields.
The Fire Department has some idea what sparked the blaze. “We’ve been investigating, not quite complete yet, but it would appear that we’re not going to be able to rule out electrical as possibly being a potential cause of this fire,” said Shields. He doubts they will ever be completely certain of what sparked the blaze.
There were no injuries resulting from the fire.
