A few months ago Carrollton Superintendent Dr. Judith Delaney announced she would retire at the end of the 2012/2013 school year.  Board President Craig Linneman says this week the group made the final step to hire her replacement.

“We took the official vote to offer Dr. Jonathan Oetinger a contract to be our new superintendent beginning July 1, 2013.”

The Mid-Missouri assistant administrator accepted the offer.

“He comes to the Carrollton School District with over nine years of superintendent experience both in small and large districts, so he comes to us with a lot of ideas and will be a good leader.”

Oetinger is currently serving as the assistant superintendent in the Waynesville School District.
