Carrollton Hosts Farmer Appreciation Dinner
| The Carrollton Chamber of Commerce farmers appreciation dinner has become a well recognized and well attended event. Chamber Director Sharon Metz says the night is a small way to say thanks. “It is such a privilege to be a part of this community and county and the good people in it and if some small way for just a moment during the year we can say thank you, that’s our privilge,” she said. |

The Chamber plans the annual event which is a cooperative effort that includes several individuals and area businesses. “This is one of the things we know we’re going to do, we want to do,” Metz explained “it’s not even an idea shall we do it another year or not.” It’s estimated more than three-hundred peole turned out for the Thursday evening gathering at the Rupe Center. |
