Carrollton Resident Pleads Guilty to Assault

A Carrollton resident pleaded guilty Monday for his involvement in a February crash that left two people seriously injured.  Jason Appleberry, 40, was charged with assault following after he crossed the center line while intoxicated and hit Chrisopher Grimpo.  Appleberry and his passenger were both injured in the accident; Grimpo was not harmed.  The judge has issued an order for a presentence investigation.  Appleberry is set to be sentenced on March 4th at 1:00 p.m.
