The Carrollton YMCA is preparing to open their new facility, located at the intersection of North Folger and 1st Street in Carrollton, Mo. They plan to begin running the new location in the beginning of January. It will feature a social room that will have a T.V., ping pong and pool tables.

The facility will also feature a 2000 sq. ft. free-weight machine/cardio area.  That will consist of tread mills, ellipticals, a 16 pc. circuit machine area.

The new building, located at the corner of 1st and Folger Street in Carrollton, remains under construction.

The YMCA will offer a child watch area that will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and also 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. for parents to bring their children when they are “working out.”

Two locker rooms with showers will be available for those that choose to take advantage of them.

Another new addition is a large aerobic/multi-purpose room that can be used for aerobics, gatherings, and will be used for Family Trivia & Family Movie Night.

The plan is to be able to expand onto this building in the future.
