Case continued against Carrollton driver charged over fatal July crash

CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. — A hearing for the Carrollton man who was the driver during a fatal crash in July 2018 was continued Wednesday in Carroll County.

Dustin M. Goodale, 29 is charged with driving while intoxicated – causing the death of another, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident, operating a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility and failure to wear a seat belt.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Andrew Waters, of Carrollton was ejected and died the night of July 14, after a vehicle driven by Goodale overturned on a county road southeast of Carrollton.

Goodale was released on ten percent of $20,000 bond July 19. He is slated to appear in a Carroll County courtroom for a hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10.
