Celebrate Halloween in Carrollton

The Carrollton Area Economic Alliance and the Carrollton Fire Department will sponsor the 2013 Halloween Costume Contest for kids. The event will take place October 31st on the Uptown Square.

There are four divisions for the children to enter: zero to two, three to six, seven to nine, and ten to twelve. Registration for the best dressed will start at 5:30 p.m. with judging to follow at 6:00 p.m. Winners in each category will receive “merchant bucks” to be spent in the community.

The Fire Department will provide hot dogs, drinks and goody bags following the final judging. The Library and YMCA will provide additional treats.
