Change Of Judge Requested Before Arraignment

A Kirksville resident, scheduled to be arraigned in Macon County, has already filed a motion for a change of judge. James D. Wilhite Jr. was on the docket for an initial arraignment after receiving a continuance to seek an attorney. Yesterday, his attorney filed a motion to change judges. The arraignment will proceed at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, but a hearing on the new motion has not been set. Wilhite is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and two counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
