Change of Venue Requested in Chillicothe Burglary Case

A motion for a change of venue will be considered for a Cameron resident Tuesday.  Jeffery Stevens, 34, is one of five people accused in connection to an alleged home invasion and shooting outside Chillicothe in April.   Stevens is charged with Burglary, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm, and assault.  He will appear in a Livingston County Courtroom for his motion hearing at noon on Tuesday.

Jeremy and Jeremiah Orona, 23, pleaded guilty to one county of burglary each in August.  They are currently serving five years in the Department of Corrections.  Two other people allegedly involved, Jessie Perez, 31,  and Jennifer McMullin, 41, are scheduled for separate jury trials in January.  Stevens will appear in a Livingston County Courtroom for his motion hearing at noon on Tuesday.
