Change of Venue Sustained in Murder Case

The motion for a change of venue and change of judge entered by a Moberly woman charged with murder has been granted.  Cassidy King, 26, appeared in a Randolph County Courtroom Wednesday afternoon and entered a plea of Not Guilty.  The body of King’s infant was found floating inside a duffel bag in a pond near Higbee last year.  The Missouri Supreme Court has been requested to handle the reassignment.
