Charges filed against man accused of firing shot inside Fulton McDonald’s

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — A warrant was issued Wednesday for a man who authorities allege fired a shot inside a Fulton McDonald’s restaurant early Saturday morning.

Brian Heathcock, VINELink

Police at first suspected William Scoggins of the assault and shooting that occurred around 2:00 a.m. on September 22.

Authorities located and interviewed Scoggins, before turning their attention to 29-year-old Brian K. Heathcock.

Heathcock is now charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, armed criminal action, property damage and one count each of felon and misdemeanor assault.

No court date has been scheduled and Heathcock is held in Warren County without bond.
