Charges Filed in Murder of Elderly Southwest Missouri Couple

A Stover man is in custody after he allegedly killed an elderly Ivy Bend couple on Tuesday.  According to court records,  Ronald Blowers, 25, is facing two counts each  of second degree murder and armed criminal action, as well as one count of burglary.  Blowers allegedly killed Wayne Wells, 82, and Mable Wells, 71, in their home.  Their autopsies indicate they died from blunt force trauma to the head.  Blowers is being held in lieu of a $1 million bond.  Court appearances have not yet been scheduled.
