Charges Filed – Saline Co. Burglary

The Saline County Prosecuting Attorney has filed charges against two subjects in connection to a burglary on July 23rd at Avery Storage in Rural Slater.

According to the probable cause statements, 20 year-old William Griffith of Slater and 19 year-old Jerrad Gilpin of Marshall allegedly cut the locks off of 20 storage units at Avery Storage and allegedly stole approximately $12,500 in property from a single unit.

The two suspects were arrested Wednesday, and some stolen property from the burglary was discovered in their possession.

The men are charged with 20 counts of burglary and felony stealing.
