A grand jury has indicted a Chillicothe man twice convicted for the 1990 killing of his neighbor. Mark Woodworth was sixteen when Cathy Robertson and her husband were shot in their northwest Missouri home.

Woodworth was sentenced to life in prison.  Woodworth’s attorney filed court documents Tuesday stating Woodworth was not legally certified to stand trial as an adult.

Last November the Missouri Supreme Court ruled that Woodworth can present new testimony as part of his latest post-conviction appeal in a Boone County trial.  That trial begins in May.
