CHILLICOTHE, Mo.- A Chillicothe teen has accepted a plea bargain in a felony Livingston County assault case.

Matthew Ryan Miller

At a hearing yesterday (Wed) morning, 16 year old Matthew Ryan Miller changed his plea to guilty, after the prosecuting attorney recommended a suspended imposition of sentence to a Class B felony charge of first degree assault involving serious physical injury.

Miller was charged as an adult after he and another juvenile allegedly choked and attempted to stab another juvenile in February of this year.

The court ordered a sentencing assessment report so a date for sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
