Christmas burglary suspect in court this week

RAY COUNTY, MO – The case of a Henrietta resident accused of burglary is back in court Tuesday.

According to court records, Jeremy Hewitt, 40, maintained a not guilty plea last week in Ray County court. According to a probable cause statement, Hewitt, allegedly broke into a building Christmas Eve, stealing several items. The officer was able to positively identify Hewitt through surveillance video.

A peremptory hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
