Clinton man arrested by deputies for assault allegations

HENRY COUNTY, MO – A resident of Clinton was arrested this morning who was the subject of a Henry County felony warrant issued last week.

According to court documents, John Russell, 47, was taken into custody by Highway Patrol just before 11 a.m. Sunday morning. Russell is wanted in Henry County for two counts of third degree assault on a special victim, and a misdemeanor sexual misconduct charge from October last year. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. He was turned over to Henry County Jail by deputies.
