A Clinton resident is scheduled to appear in Benton County court for a hearing Tuesday afternoon.  Lonny Mays, 68, was charged with murder and armed criminal action following an incident in March of 2012. Mays allegedly opened fire on his neighbor, Rudy Romdall, 66.  Romdall was killed in the alleged attack.  Judge Mark Pilley reduced Mays’ $2 million bond to $30,000 cash-only, plus $75,000 surety last August.  Mays posted the full amount a few weeks later and was placed under house arrest.  His hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Judge Pilley’s courtroom.
