“It is one of the things we are doing in our ministry,” said Stephens. “It is the second [giveaway] we have done this year – we normally do two a year. Our outreach is based in Ray County, not just for Ray County, but we are based here. One of our missions is to address the needs of who are in need in this community and are not able to provide for their families.”

Stephens said that if anyone would like to donate clothing to the giveaway, they can do so by just stopping by the Eagleton Senior Center on Saturday during the event.

“It will be happening Saturday, August 10th,” Stephens added. “We will open the doors at 10:00 in the morning and it will run through approximately 2:00 in the afternoon. If there are still people in need and we still have product to give away, we will run until we have serviced everybody.”

Stephens emphasized the fact that the giveaway is for those who are in need in Ray County and the surrounding areas, and expects up to 500 people to participate on Saturday.
