Wright said it is designed to promote dialogue between the community and the police department.

“It provides an environment that’s non-threatening.  It’s not like coming to the police department and talking to us,” said Wright, “You just sit down, have a cup of coffee, and tell us the issues that you may be facing or perception of the problems in Trenton.  It is also an opportunity for residents to meet some of the officers and dispatchers and get to know the programs that we offer.”

Friday’s program will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. at the Trenton Hardees Store.
