Collision in Pettis County Injures Six

A multiple vehicle crash in Pettis County Friday night resulted in several injuries. The Highway Patrol reports Christina Armstrong, 31, of Sedalia was southbound on U.S. 65 Highway at Georgetown Road when she failed to yield to a northbound vehicle being driven by Waylon Wright, 22, of Bosworth. After the impact, the Armstrong vehicle continued on and struck a vehicle that was turning northbound being driven by Micah Hans, 30, of Sedalia. Each of the three vehicles travelled partially off the roadway before coming to rest. Two passengers in the Armstrong vehicle received moderate injuries, Krislynn Armstrong, 13, and Raven Goodnight, 15, both of Sedalia, were transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia. A passenger in the Hans vehicle, Andrea Bender, 40, of New Franklin received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital. All three drivers received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
