Tickets still Available for Pepsi Grandstand Concerts and State Fair Arena Events

 

(SEDALIA, Mo.) – Tickets are still available to a variety of entertainment shows scheduled for this year’s Missouri State Fair, Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia.  The lineup of country and rock concerts and the lineup of motorsports and rodeo action are sure to appeal to a wide range of fairgoers, making the Missouri State Fair a great destination for family fun.

 

Tickets to all the Pepsi Grandstand and State Fair Arena events, as well as to the Governor’s Ham Breakfast, are available at the Fair’s Box Office, which is open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The Box Office is located on the fairgrounds in Sedalia, and will expand its hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily during the Fair.  Tickets to all events may also be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-796-6776.

 

The Pepsi Grandstand is the venue for eight concerts and two tractor pulls this year.  The event dates, names and ticket prices are:

  • Thursday, Aug. 8, Chris Cagle and Will Hoge, 7:30 p.m.

$10 grandstand/$15 track

  • Friday, Aug. 9, Foreigner and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, 7:30 p.m.

$20 regular grandstand/$25 premium grandstand

$35 regular track/$40 premium track

  • Saturday, Aug. 10, Gary Allan and Randy Houser, 7:30 p.m.

The State Fair Arena offers 11 days of action from rodeos to motorsports.  The eight arena events, requiring a ticket, include:

  • Thursday and Friday, Aug. 8–9, MRCA Finals Rodeo, 7 p.m.

$8 adult/$5 ages 6–12/free ages 5 and under

  • Saturday, Aug. 10, MRCA State Finals Rodeo, 7 p.m.

$10 adult/$6 ages 6–12/free ages 5 and under

  • Monday, Aug. 12, Motocross Final Championship Round of the MO Fair Cross Series, featuring quads and motorcycles, 7 p.m.

$7 ticket/free ages 5 and under

  • Tuesday, Aug. 13, Flat Track TT Race, featuring quads, motorcycles, lawnmowers and Outlaw go-carts, 7 p.m.

$7 ticket/free ages 5 and under

  • Wednesday, Aug. 14, Antique, Classic and Farm Tractor Pull, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

All day ticket, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., $8 adult/$5 senior/free ages 5 and under

Evening ticket, 6 p.m. only, $7 adult/$4 senior/free ages 5 and under

  • Friday, Aug. 16, MSF Championship Bull Riding, 7 p.m.
