Concordia Patrolman Recognized by Highway Patrol

Concordia Patrolman Toney Helms was awarded with the title of, “Officer of the Month,” by the Highway Patrol at the city’s Board of Aldermen meeting Monday night.

Drenon says Helms assisted by using stop sticks along with going the extra mile to help.

The board discussed special use and event permits for ATV type of vehicles as well. They also looked at maintenance responsibility for alleys within the community.
