Construction Project Begins Monday in Chillicothe

A significant construction project gets underway Monday in Chillicothe.  The city’s Street Department is preparing to begin a $25,000 road construction project in the south end of town.  Street Superintendent Barry Arthur said he hopes to have all of the work completed within two weeks.  Click to hear Arthur:

The work is weather dependent.  Each street should take no more than a day to complete.  Residents are being asked to remove their vehicles from the roadway and adjoining shoulder area.  Streets included in the project are:

Herriford from Madison to Lilly
Lilly from Brunswick to Henry
Curtis from Asher to Liberia
Conn/Primrose from Curtis to Herriford
Waples from Church to Conn
Liberia from Madison to Curtis
Mack from St. Louis to Linn
Missouri from Bridge to East Jackson
