Convicted Child Molester Sentenced

Bryon Pride

A registered sex offender was sentenced on a second charge Tuesday.  Bryon Pride, 51, was already on the list for an incident in 1984 when charges of statutory sodomy were filed against him.  As part of a plea deal, Pride pleaded guilty to child molestation in November.  A judge sentenced him to 15 years in the Department of Corrections.  The court will consider releasing Pride on parole after 120 days.
