Coroner pronounces driver dead after crash

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – A driver from Mora was killed during a crash Friday morning.

A crash report from Highway Patrol says, Milton Harms, 78, was pronounced dead at the scene. A vehicle driven by Harms had departed from route U, south of Cole Camp in Pettis County. the vehicle struck a fence and a tree north of Manila Road. The report indicates no use of a seat belt by the driver. He was found ejected from the driver’s side window. The county coroner pronounced Harms dead at the scene.
