A bid was awarded for towing abandoned vehicles at Monday night’s City Council meeting. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with City Administrator Connie Latimer:
Latimer said Marshall has a real problem with the people leaving their unlicensed vehicles around. Gilpin Auto Parts will now pay the city $69 for every car they tow.
Marshall was also designated at “Train Town” by the Union Pacific Railroad. Union Pacific Railroad is awarding the designation to certain towns along its routes in celebration of its 150th anniversary.
