The ordinance requires pet owners to clean up after their animals.  It also stipulates that cats should be tagged or microchipped.  The ordinance goes into effect May 10th.  Residents have had a year to prepare for the changes.

The Slater City Council discussed upgrades to their Waste Water Plant.  Griffith said the City recently put in a new motor control center.
