Richmond City Council took another step in the GIS mapping of their city at Tuesday night’s meeting. Click to hear KMZU ‘s Janet Adkison speak with City Administrator Ron Brohammer:
The system has been in the works for three years. It was decided at Tuesday’s meeting that Midland GIS in Maryville will host the system. “That will give us an opportunity to have, eventually, virtually everything that the city has in computers, and then we’ll be able to print out maps,” said Brohammer, “Eventually we will get to the point where our water lines, sewer line connections and all that will be in.”
Council also established the filing dates for April’s election. Interested candidates can turn in their paperwork from December 11th to January 15th.
