The resolution will show support for the project.  “Financially, they’ve supported it, but it’s important that now they verbally support the final report that will be unveiled here before very long,” said Latimer.

A memo of understanding with the Saline County Medical Reserve will also be considered.  “That just gives us all the coverage we need, like, if we do have some sort of disaster we can apply for funding that they wouldn’t be able to get,” said Latimer, “In order to help all of us and in order for us to work together, it’s like a mutual aid-type agreement that we have with the Sheriff’s Department and the Highway Patrol and our Police Department.”

That meeting gets underway at 5:15 in City Hall.
