The meeting of the Chillicothe City Council on Monday will bring with a 5:30 p.m. workshop to discussed updates on the hospital project. Once the council moves into regular session, items on the agenda will include appointments to the Parks and Recreation board and the Airport Board, an ordinance to accept a bid for towing services, and discussion regarding election date changes. Also on the schedule in an ordinance that would accept Water’s Edge Road and Lakeview Drive as city streets. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk to street superintendent Barry Arthur:
“There were some issues with the roads when this thing was built,” said Arthur,” I believe they were just some workmanship problems and not that they were out of spec. There were a couple of cracks that showed up in the streets and this has all been repaired since then. We are going to propose an ordinance to the city council to accept these two streets and for the city to maintain them from here on.”
The meeting of the regular agenda will get underway at 6:30 in council chambers.
