Counseling Available for Veterans

Veterans and families struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder and readjustment will have counseling available to them on Friday in Trenton.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott talk with Veterans Service Officer Wayne Kleinschmidt:

The benefit is free to veterans and will run from 9-3 p.m.  A Vet Center Counselor will be present from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.  Services will be available at Hy-Vee in Trenton on Monday from 9-3 p.m.

Veterans are asked to bring a copy of their VA paperwork and DD-214 with the.  All help is provided free to veterans through donations the VFW receives every year.
