RANDOLPH COUNTY, MO – Law enforcement out of Randolph County is advising residents of a possible scam after receiving complaints from citizens.

Residents were allegedly told by scammers that a warrant for their arrest would be procured if money was not sent to the scammer immediately. The callers claimed to be deputies with Randolph County sheriff’s office collecting overdue taxes.

Sheriff Mark Nichols tells residents to hang up, retrieve the calling number, and report it to the Sheriff’s Office. (844-277-6555 ext. 420)
