CARROLLTON, Mo.- Multiple subpoenas were served last month leading up to expected trial dates next month in the case against a Carrollton man facing child molestation allegations.

According to court records, William Grimes, 35, entered a plea of not guilty in October of last year. Yesterday, a joint motion for continuance occurred in Carroll County Circuit Court to consider a date to reset the matter for trial.

Trial dates remain set for July 16-18, 2018, and a hearing will take place next Tuesday June 19, 2018, at 3:00 p.m.

Grimes is charged with two felony sex charges including child molestation in the first-degree and enticement of a child dating back to an incident in February of 2016.
