The Criminal Setting for a Richmond resident has been continued.  Zarek Cook, 21, is charged with discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle, armed criminal action, assault, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.  He will next appear in a Ray County Courtroom January 18th at 9:00.  Bond for cook is set at $4,000.

According to the probable cause statement Cook and another defendant were allegedly involved in a shooting on October 14 where the two chased and shot at a car near Richmond.  They are then reported to have returned to Graham’s home, and Cook is accused of attempting to hide while Christopher Graham, 19, allegedly hid the Winchester 20 gauge shotgun when law enforcement authorities showed up.  Graham is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on January 15.
