Dangerous heat expected to envelop Missouri

PLEASANT HILL, Mo. – National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill, has issued a hazardous weather outlook is for northwest, north central and west central Missouri as well as extreme eastern Kansas, from Sunday through Friday.

Heat index values are expected to be near 100 degrees on Sunday and then climb over 100 degrees from Monday through Thursday. With low temperatures in the upper 70s, there will be little relief from the heat resulting in possible heat related illnesses throughout the work week.
