Dangerous Missouri fugitives still at large as authorities seek tips

MISSOURI – Authorities continue to search for two fugitives who escaped from a southeastern Missouri jail.

William Carter, 27, and Joseph Latamondeer, 41, escaped from Pemiscot County Justice Center in Caruthersville, through an air duct, before jumping a fence on the property. The two men are considered armed and dangerous.

Carter is charged with murder in death of his wife and another man. Latamondeer is charged in a domestic assault and kidnapping case.
