MoDOT will begin pavement work along I-35 in Daviess County on May 1st. Crews will be removing sections of concrete and pouring new ones along a ten-mile stretch that starts at the Highway 69 interchange north of Winston and ends at the Route C intersection near Pattonsburg. The $1.9 million contract was awarded to Interstate Improvement and is expected to be complete by the end of June. Area Engineer Tonya Lohman says motorist should use extra caution through these work zones as crews will be in the center lanes often. One lane in either direction will be closed during operations.
