Davis Pleads Guilty

One of the men charged in a July burglary in Lafayette County has pleaded guilty.  Johnathan Davis, 33, of Oak Grove, admitted to one count of first-degree burglary in court Tuesday.  Court documents allege he and Louis Jones, 33, of Independence, attempted to enter a home in the western portion of the county.  Jones was shot in the shoulder by the homeowner.  Additional and similar charges have been filed in both Jackson and Johnson counties.
