Dawn Resident to be Arraigned

A Dawn resident who is facing charges related to a shooting in September will be arraigned Tursday at 9:00 a.m.  According to police, David Hughes, 37, allegedly opened fire on Paul Estes and Brandi Thompson at a home near 4th and Liberty on the 5th of September.  Hughes was seriously injured in the shootout.  Prosecutors have charged Hughes with assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon. Hughes remains behind bars on a $300,000 bond.
