RAY COUNTY, Mo. – A motion in Limine has been filed ahead of a July 9, 2018 trial in Ray County.

Patricia Smith

The attorney for Patricia S. Smith, 35, of Richmond filed the motion Thursday so the matter can be taken up at or before a June 28 pre-trial conference.

Smith and her boyfriend, a registered sex offender, Danny DeClue, 32 are each charged with felony attempted enticement of a child under the age of 15.

The victim’s mother reported finding text messages from Smith asking the child to have sex with her boyfriend.

DeClue later admitted telling Smith to send the messages. Both remain jailed in Ray County.
