Dover Days is happening on Saturday August 2nd and officially runs from 7 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. While most of the day’s scheduled events will be at the Dover City Park; the quilt show will be at the Dover Christian Church and breakfast/BBQ will be at the Community Building.

According to Mayor Mais, there are so many vendors with booths this year that they had to position some of them along 24 Highway which runs through town. Visitors can expect plenty of arts and crafts to choose from.

There will be a bounce house to help keep the kids entertained as well as a pedal tractor pull composed of different weight classes. Trophies will be awarded to the top contestants.

Four of the six wineries in Lafayette County will be on hand providing free tastings and products for sale for those 21 and up.
